When we opened the doors to Haskins Hideout Cigar and Bourbon Lounge a couple of months ago, we knew we wanted to create something different. Not just another bar. Not just another cigar lounge. We wanted a place where good conversations happen naturally, where the bourbon pours are generous, the cigars are premium, and the atmosphere feels like your favorite getaway without having to leave Northwest Ohio. Apparently, you all agreed.
Thanks to the incredible response from the community, we’ve adjusted our public hours to give everyone more opportunities to stop in, unwind, and enjoy the Hideout experience.
Starting this week, our new public hours are:
- Tuesday through Thursday from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM
- Friday from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM
- Saturday from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM
- Sunday from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM
That means more time to kick back after work with a cigar and bourbon, more weekends spent watching the game with friends, and more opportunities to escape the chaos of everyday life for a few hours. Let’s be honest. The world feels a little less stressful when you’re sitting in a plush leather chair with a great cigar in one hand and a perfectly poured bourbon in the other.
And yes, we have the games on.
Actually, we have several large widescreen TVs, so whether you’re following football, golf, baseball, basketball, or yelling at your fantasy team roster like it personally offended you, you’ll have a great seat for all the action.
If you haven’t visited yet, there’s a good chance you’ll walk in planning to stay for one drink and somehow still be here three hours later debating sports, politics, bourbon rankings, or whether pinball should still be considered a professional skill. For the record, we believe it absolutely should.
Beyond the atmosphere, the Hideout is packed with amenities that make it unlike anything else in the area. Guests can enjoy our fully stocked cigar humidor, iconic bourbon bar, retro pinball machines, Texas Hold’em table, Ohio Lottery and Keno, heated and massage lounge chairs, induction phone chargers at every seat, and the area’s largest outdoor patio. We even have a full size golf simulator because sometimes your golf swing needs bourbon supervision.
And then there’s the bourbon.
From hard to find pours to old favorites, our bourbon bar was built for both seasoned enthusiasts and newcomers who just want to learn what all the fuss is about. Bonus points if you try one of our bourbon pours served at a frosty negative 24 degrees. It’s the kind of thing that makes bourbon lovers smile and whiskey purists argue for 20 minutes. We enjoy both.
Of course, while the new public hours give everyone more time to enjoy the lounge, our Members still enjoy the ultimate perk: 24/7 access to the Hideout and all of its amenities.
That means anytime access to the lounge, premium seating, the golf simulator, the patio, the TVs, the bourbon bar, and a place that genuinely feels like your own private club without the stuffy country club attitude.
