HASKINS, OHIO — Ohio Cigar Mafia is teaming up with Haskins Hideout Cigar and Bourbon Lounge to host “Paws at the Hideout” on Saturday, June 27, from Noon to 5PM, bringing the community together for a powerful cause: supporting veterans through life-changing service dogs.
Held at Haskins Hideout Cigar and Bourbon Lounge, 100 W Main Street in Haskins, this inaugural event at the venue continues a mission Ohio Cigar Mafia has championed for five years ... raising more than $300,000 for Dogs Inc., a nonprofit that provides service dogs to veterans with disabilities at absolutely no cost.
Dogs Inc., a 501(c)(3) based in Palmetto, Florida, delivers more than just trained service dogs. The organization covers food, preventative care, and provides lifetime support for every veteran-dog team. And here’s the kicker ... they receive zero government funding, relying entirely on private donations and community-driven events like this one.
From breeding and whelping to advanced training, everything happens on the Dogs Inc. campus. Puppies are placed with volunteer raisers in nine states during their first year before returning for final training, ultimately becoming highly skilled companions that restore independence, confidence, and quality of life for veterans.
“This is where a good time meets a great cause,” organizers said. “You’ll enjoy the atmosphere, but more importantly, you’ll hear real stories about how these dogs are changing—and saving—lives.”
Event highlights include:
- $25 donation (includes a premium cigar)
- Food truck from Big O’s BBQ
- Live music by DJ Magic Mike
- A chance to connect, give back, and make a real impact
Hosted by Ohio Cigar Mafia at Haskins Hideout Cigar and Bourbon Lounge, the event invites the public to attend, bid, win, and support veterans in a meaningful way.
Bottom line: You can sit around all weekend… or you can show up, enjoy yourself, and help change a veteran’s life.
